McKenzie believes that

McKenzie studied musical theatre and acting at the American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York City and focused on Applied Theatre and Social Work during undergrad at Pacific University. It is one of her passions to support local theatres in producing meaningful works that are related to mental health and social justice. McKenzie has previously worked with teens and adults addressing topics like body image, bullying, gun violence, mental health, suicide, and more.
